Gowharrud Company was established in 1991 to execute projects within the water and wastewater industry—including dam construction, irrigation networks, potable water and sewage systems, hydroelectric power plants, tunneling, the construction of associated pumping stations, and the erection of heavy concrete structures—as well as to undertake road and transport network construction, import necessary materials, equipment, and machinery from abroad for these projects, and carry out any other activities directly or indirectly related to the aforementioned areas of operation.
